With an abundance of natural gas resources in the state of West Virginia, there have been calls for deregulation in the state. The ability to choose your natural gas supplier is an option across the entire state of West Virginia for all residents. However, consumers are yet to take full advantage.
One report called for action, with large natural gas users are able to save economic resources, increase in-state competition, and create additional incentives for new businesses to locate within the state and employ West Virginians.
